Through painting I am able to access a world not available to me through words.

As a painting begins I stand before the canvas with curiosity as to where the journey will take me, trusting that a doorway will appear to enchanted lands within my being.

I am drawn to intense colors, often many layers of intense color, that inspire my intuitive voice, providing a landscape for spiritual inquiry and connection.

It is this connection with the parts of me that flow with collective conciousness, that fuels and feeds the passion for visual poetry. It is in this connection that I find freedom to roam and play, to feel and hear, guided by instinct and Spirit.

Intuitition is part o the framework of the conscious human. It is this little voice that comes alive through color, shadow and light, that presents itself as an opportunity to move into deeper realms. It allows me to step beyond the intellect and swim in the water of Being. It offers a calling to discover pools of still water to bathe a thirsty soul, providing guidance and light into lands of spiritual knowing and remembering.

It is my intention that my work will speak to something inside of you. That it will provide for you a rabbit hole, a further step on your path of intuitive discovery and awareness of the essence in you. I pray it will give you an opportunity to play in the land of magic and dance with the fairies.

It feels as if there is more freedom, more appreciation, trust and unbridled passion when the focus is in color and the movement of my body. As I explore and play with my work, I am drawn into a world of magic, grounded on this earth, flying through the spheres, reflecting stars and the light of the moon from within. As I paint, it feels as if the veil is lifted and I am wholly present in the moment.

Painting provides a sanctuary, a spiritual ambience for my exploration of self.
